It's not a top!

Fiona had to prove to her workmates that this frock was more than a long top! Here's the pic to prove it...

Rebecca is Frocking Out!

Participant Rebecca has been frocking out some simply awesome frocks this Frocktober - this is one of my faves from the ones she sent through! Check out the full skirt!

The Littlest Frockette

This pic comes from longtime Frocktober supporter Sarah who took this photo of her adorable 3 year old, Juliette! They were working on perfecting her supermodel poses - I think she's doing a pretty good job.
Sarah is also doing a great job - frocking it out whilst pregnant - we salute you!

You follow Juliette and Sarah's progress at http://www.justmeblog.com/frocktober/

The lawn doesn't stop growing just because of Frocktober!

Thanks Cassandra for your entry!

Frocktober certainly makes mowing the lawn interesting!

Melanie and the Stockings!

Thanks Melanie for your entry - this is by far one of the more original ideas we have seen for Frocktober!

"As a non-dress wearer, doing Frocktober last year was challenge enough, and I raised about $1200 (probably out of people's curiosity to see me in a dress, as much as their desire to help fight ovarian cancer). But this year I wanted to up the ante so I challenged myself not just to wear a frock every day for the month but to recreate a stock photo every day as well.

I was inspired to do this by the website Stocking is the New Planking, a silly internet meme-in-the-making that asks you to, well, recreate stock photos. If you've ever trawled a stock photo site (something I often spend a lot of time doing as part of my job) you'll know there's some pretty mad 'when would anyone ever need this photo?' photos on them."

Voila, my entry, attached. There's also a blog post about it here (with all the other daily photos).

Jennifer rocking the op shop frock

A nice little Op Shop number this morning... it's made of wool or fake wool I believe! So far I'm not itchy in it.

It's not too bad an op shop piece, just wait until tomorrow's Op Shop dress!!

We're going to the zoo....

Emily is one of our passionate supporters - she is raising fund through her team 'Frock the Zoo! We love this little number she was wearing today.

A frock from Elise!

Something a bit brighter today. $4 dress from the op shop. And lunch with the lovely ladies from work. (we thank Elise for being so colourful today - her beloved Collingwood Magpies were beaten by the Mighty Geelong Catters only 24 hrs beforehand!!!)

Competition Information & Guidelines

What better way to celebrate than with an old fashioned photo competition. It’s classic for a reason.

  1. All you have to do is take a frock-related photo that you think is fabulous. We aren’t even going to tell you what to do – so get your thinking caps on, and your camera phones at the ready. It could be you in your favourite frock, a funny frock or just you in a fabulous frock!
  2. Email it to us at fairlie@frocktober.org with the heading “Fabulous Frock Photo Competition” folder. Make sure you include in the email your name, phone number,  a small description to accompany your photo (i.e. where is came from and why you think it's special and awesome!).
  3. Go to the blog (http://fabulousfrockphotos.blogspot.com/) to see your frock-tography!
  4. Write a comment for the ones you think are the most fabulous-est!

Remember: The earlier you get the photo up, the more chance you have to win. But don’t stress… if its fabulous, the accolades and appreciation will come…

Prize:

What do you win? Pride, glory and something from our prize cupboard! Who doesn't love a mystery prize!

How does the winner get chosen?

Throughout the month, we will be calling on people to comment on your pics to show their appreciation! We will be choosing the photos with the most comments by October 31st to win prizes from our prize cupboard. So make sure you comment on the ones you think are great!

Rules:

  1. Any people in submitted photos must give their consent to be involved
  2. Nothing illegal
  3. Nothing that may offend
